Organized under the leadership of Prof. Umberto Veronesi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Science for Peace and Former Minister of Health of Italy, the conference was held for the first time in a country other than Italy for the fifth year in Istanbul, hosted by the Association for Life Without Cancer.
International experts from seven different countries, including Nobel Laureates Shirin Ebadi, Herald zur Hausen, Chiara Tonelli and Maria Christina Profili from the World Health Organization (WHO), discussed the “Obligations of Science for Peace” and identified solutions.
