Support
We continue our regular cash and in-kind aid to families
As the Life Without Cancer Association, considering the difficulties brought by the pandemic in 2020, we launched a fundraising campaign for our “Family Life Support” fund, saying “Let's Heal Together”. Because of cancer treatment lasting many years, families who are already under a heavy financial burden struggle to find medical supplies and meet their needs, while also fighting unemployment.
Since 2020 we have been providing regular in-kind and cash aid to families. In our project, in which as of 2024 we give each family 1,500 TL per month and 18,000 TL per year in financial support, we aim to ease the financial burden of children and adults with cancer with the donations collected. We will continue our project permanently.
Within this scope:
- Cash support
- Food aid (supermarket cards, food parcels)
- In-kind support: clothing, shoes, toys, tablets, computers, hygiene packs (masks, disinfectant, liquid soap)
- School stationery, etc.
*Our association was granted permission to collect aid by the approval of the Istanbul Governorship dated 01.06.2022 and numbered 235837, and the campaign continues as a work authorised, approved and audited by the Istanbul Governorship.
