Message from our President
‘Living Figures’, which we always share as proof that our projects are sustainable and based on facts, has been prepared for you to examine the numerical details of our association’s 13-year work. With these figures, which express people who can smile at life, we have revealed with all clarity how we have reached the values where the concepts of quantity and quality overlap and the life stories that continue with your support.
Here, I would like to emphasize that we are proud to be able to share that our Expenditure for Purpose ratio is 67% in 2022 and that we are one of the first associations to share its balance sheet and independent audit with the public in order to crown your trust and belief that keeps us standing.
I am grateful for your material and moral contributions, energy, labor, time, efforts and beautiful hearts for our association. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Life Without Cancer Association, I would like to thank you and greet you with love and respect.

Who is Dida Kaymaz?
Born in 1977 in Izmir, she completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir. After studying economics, she completed her master’s degree in business administration. She then continued her education in Italy. While living there, at the age of 26, she met cancer, a disease that changed her life. After a nine and a half year struggle, he regained his health. In 2010, she founded the Life Without Cancer Association, of which she is still the chairperson, to support thousands of cancer patients in Turkey; she works for the realization of many projects that will bring cancer patients back to life. Dida Kaymaz, who is the first and only delegate of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, founded by Prof. Dr. Umberto Veronesi, former Minister of Health of Italy and founder of the European Institute of Oncology, lives in Turkey and Italy.
KAYD Chairman Dida Kaymaz was appointed to the “Civil Society Advisory Board” by the Ministry of Interior on 17. 11. 2020.
